Each of SugarCity Events’ spaces has a story to tell. Until 1889, the sugar factory’s employees began their day in the Pakhuis, where they parked their bikes, changed, and spread out through the factory. When the renovation of the site began in 2011, this was one of the first spaces to be developed.
Despite its brick walls, concrete floors, pillars, and iron doors, the Pakhuis is SugarCity Events’ most contemporary space. At 200 square metres, it accommodates fifty people and is perfect for business presentations, workshops, and meetings, with all the state-of-the-art facilities you’d expect at such events.
The Pakhuis has its own entrance, and is connected to the Middenfabriek and Binnentuin . It can also be used as additional space for large events in other areas of SugarCity, for example as a production office.
