On 23 April 2015, the first edition of this benefit gala was held at SugarCity. The Brandwonden KrachtGala raised an impressive €148,863, with the donations destined to help prevent future burn injuries and ease the suffering of those suffering from such injuries.
It was certainly a night to remember, with performances by popular Dutch artists including Nick & Simon and Edsilia Rombley. Ambassador of the cause and celebrity chef Julius Jaspers provided the culinary wizardry at the gala and later in the evening, DJ Menjo made sure that everyone hit the dance floor.
